Norsk Fjordsenter is the visitor and information center for the West Norwegian fjord landscape and for the Geirangerfjord World Heritage Area. The exhibitions show the exciting and distinctive fjord landscape, which was given world heritage status by Unesco in 2005.
Through exhibitions and interactive stations, you gain knowledge about the geological processes that created the fjord landscape and you get to see what the landscape is like today.
You will also learn about the biological diversity and how animals and plants have adapted to the types of nature here. The visitor center has its own exhibition and an engaging activity room for children.
